How you present your hair and skin before your photoshoot will absolutely affect the outcome of your images. I've put together some tips on how to ensure your skin and hair are in top notch condition before your boudoir or portrait session.
>> Wash your hair the day before your session. This will allow the natural oils to assist in styling the day of your session. If you are using our hair & makeup artist, be sure your hair is completely dry before arriving.
>> Wear a button down shirt while styling your hair (and doing your makeup) to be sure it doesn't get messed up when changing into your wardrobe.
>> If you are styling your own hair, be sure to consider the location. If you anticipate lots of wind, it's a good idea to pull your hair back a bit to keep it out of your (and your husband's) face.
>> Exfoliate your face & body 2-3 days prior to your session.
>> You can make your own exfoliant but combining honey & sugar and rubbing it on the skin.
>> If you are using our hair & makeup artist, be sure to come with a makeup-free face. If you have sensitive skin, it is a good idea to bring your foundation with you.
If you have tips of your own, please leave them in the comments! We can't wait to make magic with you for your boudoir photography or portrait photography session!
