Baton Rouge Wedding Photographer - Choosing the Best Fit

Shopping around for vendors for your wedding day can be hard work. That's why I've put together some important questions to ask your wedding photographer to ensure you find the absolute perfect fit. Here are my answers to a few of those questions!

What is your editing style?

Hoppe Images is considered a bright and airy photographer. I prefer editing truer to color, but with a tad more saturation for a bolder look.

What is your experience using off camera flash?

Though I prefer the look of natural light photography, I am very comfortable using both on camera and off camera flash. To every wedding, I bring several lights, stands, and diffusers.

What gear do you shoot with?

I shoot with a mirrorless Sony a7iii and have a variety of lenses, my favorites being the 85mm 1.8 and the 35mm 1.4. My camera holds two SD cards to ensure your images are safe, even if one fails.

Do you have a portfolio you can show me?

Absolutely! Shoot me an email and I can send you the link to view my wedding folio.

Who is your perfect bride?

The perfect bride match for me is someone who loves the little details. Someone who spends time choosing the perfect florist, coordinator, and venue. My brides love to have details of their special day captured from start to finish, especially the parts where they're having FUN! My brides can be found on the dance floor with their girls with a cocktail in hand.

These are just five questions I recommend you ask your wedding photographer, but if you have any other questions, post them in the comments! Need help choosing other vendors? Here are our favorites!
